EMBRACE ME NOT
A POEM BY WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

Embrace me not, my girl,
Hold me tight, give me a pearl.
Every dreams are rainbow beams,
Of light and shades in light fumes,
Come and dwell in my heart,
Be my own tender body part,
Scattered around like colorless rays.
When will you show you novel ways.
Life is a half broken-winged bird.
Come and dwell in my heart,
Be my own tender body part,
Love, otherwise, an unwritten word,
Which cannot fly towards the vast sky,
Hold fast to dreams; I wonder why,
my night thought always fades away
Come and dwell in my heart,
Be my own tender body part,
Then I feel that I lost my own way
Life has become like a barren field,
It is frozen without any more yield.
Give me roses to be the thorn of
Your soft, rounded breasts,
Let me sleep deep in your arms,
Smiling away my day dreams,
Give me apples and I will kiss
Your blossoming tender lips.
