Emptiness
So many missed moments,
Hundred missed opportunities.
Mistakes made over and over again.
Lessons to learn that we avoid.
Life in its fullness left to live.
In our heads we are warriors,
However not quite so.
We are all weak at some point.
Portraying stronger characters.
Not relating at all to life and it's beauty.
Just concentrating on being fake,
Crying through the night feeling hurt.
Feeling sorry for ourselves.
Never accepting the wrong we are doing.
Blaming others for our faults.
Then it hits us, alone and scared, it hits us.
We are the directors of our lives.
The actors of our stories.
The producers of our destiny.
Only we never realise it, until it's too lateΒ and life passes us by and we feel empty.
We feel ashamed, realising we missed out.
We sold out and achieved only one thing...
Emptiness.
