Empty Costume...

Empty Costume...

My god!
Please, NO!

Black mist
Overshadows,
You grotesque
Human being,
Now in life
I'm a walking ghost!
Eyes
Have turned black
Mind
Is a thickened memory
Image
A blurry vision
Of who I used to be
You monster
You deserved
More than prison
I could kill you
And bury your poison
Still
That horrendous moment looms
Still
Slumped, left like an empty costume
Still....

When you go through something as profoundly life-changing as rape or some kind of traumatic abuse you definitely can relate to words such as ~

~ "Now in life I'm a walking ghost!
                   Eyes ~ have turned black
Mind ~ is a thickened memory.."

That is fantastically accurate and truly creative at the same time!!......PINNED this one my friend!!........ Excellent write WAYNE!!....... Bravo!! ?????.........LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo ?
