The End

Ashes fall like snow
Smoke clouds cover over the sun
Blackened trees sway and whisper
"The End, The End."

Somewhere a child cries for its mother
It's sobs sink unheard into the inky night
The child, struck by fear thinks
"The End, The End."

Up in the heavens the searaphs watch with wonder
Then turn their heads away
Deep down in the fires of Eberus the demons cheer
"The End! The End!"

Down here alone I stand among the fog
It pulls me out into the night
The ashes of my past lie underfoot
This is the End
The End
