ENTRANCED...

On an ambitious thought
I venture forth
Provoking
yet
Choking
My curiosity caught

Oblivious in the dark
Heedless to say
If the path was revealed
Could I follow the way?

Am I lulled with deception
As I wander astray?
A mesmerizing wonder
Before me....night or day.

Am I already there?
Or here?
I think so.
In a trance I may be
Yet I know
If I go
And depart from this place
I'll return to 'that' low.

Entranced
I have no choice
My tale told
Will now unfold
Controlling me
Like gravity
My destiny
I'm soon to see
Charmed
You have a hold

Before my eyes
An orchestra....of ecstasy
Is all I see
And you..
The conductor...hypnotizing me.

Then all aboard as we set sail
Atop an endless ocean
Mesmerized....
Your ebb and tide
Enthralled with pure emotion.

Unable to jump overboard
As you captain my boat
Your pleasure cruise
Your ship of dreams
Assures me I will float

And on that note
I'm thrown into
An unknown place
Through outer space....
As I swim without a rope.

Bewitched by the moon
Dazzled by the stars
Teleportation
Past Saturn or Mars

Change direction
If you must
Just keep me spellbound
In wanderlust!
