Eternal

She slipped through dawn 
as the dark let her go
but  she was not of this race
Reborn she'd come to join a new breed
not of this world
Like the others she'd been fixed with a
different hunger
and as mortality fades
seduction will own its claim
Her eyes shadow what she'd become
and eternity drew her in with the wolves
A hidden agenda recklessly plays the game
and what poor soul will fall to his knees
who will be her hero that allows her to feed
as its element satisfies a quenching thirst
The rules of immortality are not yet set
all boundaries remain open to its flaw
Its foundation showers the sacred blood
Youth will manifest to time indefinite
as mortality fades into the distance 
until there will be no child of God
