Eternity.

Stars at night are shining, yet far away its seeming,
I gaze with longing cross the satin sky ,a gleaming
A single moment, my last breath,
I cry out to the sky.
I fly past the Pearly gates, to seek solace with the beacons of heaven,
to take my place among the stars.
I sit there contemplating ,as centuries fly beneath me,
what could have been. For even As I sit, my mind is racing cross the rolling hills
and ever sundered seas, seeing ,hearing ,feeling.
I flutter through the cosmos, on an ever-blowing breeze, I cross the tumult of stars, mightier than the seas.
Oh, what a feeling it is to go rampant 'pon the stars which I once longingly gazed! I rejoice in triumph for the sight before me!
Oh what a joy it is to revel in the moonlight! To fly wonderstruck through the galaxies before me! Oh more joyous then even the soaring dawn!
Although ,I know my time is up. I slip down, hastened by my anchor, but I know, my time will come again. The future is bright As I draw my first breath reborn, Rejoice!

:) Looking forward to seeing more from your pen !
Thank you Flowergirl. Eternity Is dangerously Beautiful. All we mortals perch on the edge of It, Leaning over to get a glimpse. It's our final moment that gives us a push. Stay away from the breathtaking everything.
