Even after my death

Last night I had a vision,
It was about you and me,
As far as I could see,
I was old, frail and broken.
We sat down by the river,
You held my hand so tightly,
I leaned over and said with a whisper,
“My dear, I am so much older now,
And if it’s Gods will that I am first to go,
Promise me that you will carry on somehow?”
To which you quickly replied,
“You will always be my Juliette,
And I your Romeo.
Please don’t worry about me baby.”
My dream continued to show me,
The beautiful man you came to be.
Not one single regret,
For dating a woman who was 7 years older,
And if you could go back and hit reset,
Your love for me would only be greater.
It soon proved that I was right,
For it must’ve been Gods will to take me that very night.
You held my hand till my last breath,
And you promised to love me forever.
Even after my death.Â
