Excuse Me

A fly landed
On a piece of cheese
Open handed
It let out a sneeze
Please Excuse me
As it took it's ease
I had to pee
That was just a tease
Adjusting wings
The fly took it's leave
With what life brings
Strange what we believe
Excuse me sir
Can l have that cheese?
This piece right here?
Yes!...sorry Sir... please!
Adjusting bread
The man bowed his head
Praying he said
Bless from germs and dread
What the fly left
Was what the man ate
Excuse me' lift
Still makes all things straight
So please say it
And mean every word
You leak a bit
'Excuse me'...twice heard

Wonderfully written and rhymed, poem very calculatively thought out verses....Job very well done, although the entire poem spoke highly of the skills of the poet.......Lines of interest, is as follows...

What you have given me...is of much more value in that a compliment from one who knows...is twice as nice for sure...thanks for caring enough to share you with me...nate jones
Hey Nate,
I reserve the right to thank you my friend, This poem is one of unique qualities and every line of it hit home...I can honestly say that this was a brilliant poem Nate and catchy. One of your key words as your poem locator was,( amusing) and that it definitely was and another was that it was goofy, on the contrary Nate, this was as clever and very calculative my friend and if all the rest is as such, I will enjoy walking through the garden of your poetic justice, plucking poem after poem for the reading.....I normally introduce poems to a juvenile facility which I frequent and read some of their poetry and would love to borrow this one if you don't mind, to present to them, the mind of a poet at work. They will get a kick out of this one…I surely did….This was a brilliant poem in my book…..Take Care Dear Sir and plan to, (as stated), stop by your garden of poetry to quench the appetite…
Jim
