Poem -
Explaining anime
People don't get my obsession,
And how it's the best decision.
Me and anime,
were like a family!
When I'm down,
anime always brings me around.
When I try to explain,
Its not in their domain.
They ask me "why do you watch kid shows?"
but the maturity level required is what none of them know.
Just know that anime is the best,
and that it beats the rest.

I enjoyed it! I like how it clarifies its not a kids show as thats a common thing said yet the content is often very deep and spirtual. Something that is missing in most todays programs.
Its not meant for the superficial, which most people are which is why it so common to be degraded.

Hey BOOKWORM!!.....I have a brother and a sister who are both artists..... my father is an artist..... we ALL LOVE animation..... and Anime is awesome stuff.....I think Japan started it (I could be wrong) but what most people don't understand is the skill level required to produce animation in any arena!!.....I LOVE that you stick to your guns!!...... Thank you so much! I love art myself. In fact, since I've started watching anime, it's all I've drawn. I've written other works using anime photos, so I thought "why not write an anime poem?" I love anime! I just re-watched Death Note and SAO...I'm into cosplaying as well...I have an Asuna costume. My first anime was Fruits Basket. I get where you're coming from because I've been there too. A lot of people alienate things they don't understand and surprisingly something as simple as anime is one of those! I'm making my way slowly but surely through Bleach right now. I also play lots of video games which I've been judged for too even though I've been doing that since I was 4...Love this poem! it's a lot of fun! :)
