Eyelands of Treasure

In Heaven’s beams drowsing, deep seas midnight blue,
The good pirate’s eyes blink, gather stars into view,
Turn the tide as his dark stare raids my sailing heart,
Splitting waves of of desire, casting love overboard.
Wild-rolling, bold-screaming, this sea stallion’s pair
In his liberation do no passion spare.
Eyes lift high to reflect hot night’s trident-rent skies...
Then close in relief, grateful, ecstasy shored.
