Eyelands of Treasure

In Heavenโ€™s beams drowsing, deep seas midnight blue,
The good pirateโ€™s eyes blink, gather stars into view,
Turn the tide as his dark stare raids my sailing heart,
Splitting waves of of desire, casting love overboard.
Wild-rolling, bold-screaming, this sea stallionโ€™s pair
In his liberation do no passion spare.
Eyes lift high to reflect hot nightโ€™s trident-rent skies...
Then close in relief, grateful, ecstasy shored.
