It was from across the room when you were caught with that intrigued stare.
You caught my eye, I licked my lips thinking "You definitely don't play fair".
I let you in, you dragged your fingers across my soft scarred skin.
You were caught by theft of my bruised and battered heart, now that you're gone I'm here right back that start.
