Faded Grays

Faded Grays

Lost in this world
Of faded grays
Broken jars
Of different clays
Melted down
In a self fed blaze

Trimble at your father's gaze

Mothers children
Are clearly trying
Still the old ways
Are slowly dying

All the witches busy flying

Levitation
Black jack ruse
Is this really
The path you choose

You're so convinced you'll never loose

What happened to
That creed of old
Diminished by
Your greed for gold

Showing all the cards we hold

Sacred secrets
Swiftly sold
Oh how many
Have you told

The old ones beg for you to fold

Do you remember
The burning blaze in May
The sacred words
She bid you say

The grass on which she bid you lay

A dangerous game
You chose to play
Is this a price
You're willing to pay

When did we all loose our way
