Fall Into Winter

Melancholia O' summer wane,
Weariness invokes autumn reign.
Trees don colored shawl,
Flaunt winter's impended call.
Billowy clouds diamond dust
Alabaster yearns to combust
Pristine dendrites profound,
Cloak fallen leaves aground.
Usher forth lioness gale,
Roar amidst wintery vale.
Birds huddle feathers puffed,
Squirrelβs cheeky nut stuffed.
Flowers have taken abed,
Β Repose aweary head.
Fancy spring's grand premiere,
Dream of times to reappear
