Fear

Fear

The Creaking of stairs creates displeasure,
Standing on the precipe looking me in the eye,
Pale face , your silence is the measure,
Since you were a baby, until you die.

I share your stress and tears,
I feed myself with your misery,
Laughter at your pain throughout the years,
My identity stays a mystery.

Shivers running down your neck,
The crazy smile never leaves my rugged face,
You’re at the bottom like a shipwreck,
I’m destroying you at a sluggish pace.
