Fear is a Liar

Fear is a liar
It delights in destruction
No matter the cost
It tells you what you should do
By screaming out what you shouldn't
It takes faith and breaks it into
kindling
if we allow it
By refusing to let our thoughts be
Entertained by this zephyr
We can keep our quests alive and well
No whispers of what you should be afraid of
No life filled with regrets
Just the striving sunlight and joy
As each morning breaks a new goal
A new outcome over fear dispelled
God is not fear
Love is not fear
Happiness is not fear
So to hell with fear I say
Let the ravages of time
tThe star of the devils road show
Take a hike 
I am on a fast track to myself
And doing what I thought I was 
Afraid of 
With gusto
