Feeling Down

Feeling Down

He’s down on his luck
 He’s missing you
No one to talk to
 When he’s, feeling blue

His close family gone
 Through the pearly gates
The emptiness that follows
 That’s what he hates

He feels so alone
 He don’t feel loved
His reflection in the mirror
 No warmth just cold
Its gotta get better
 He don’t deserve this
Who’s dealing the cards out
 They’re taking the piss

His luck has to change
 Another throw of the dice
Make a break from the misery
 He said,that would be nice

Make a man happy
 No living slave
Bring a smile to his face
Before he gets to the grave

Gosh..,your words echo for so many, that abandoned sensation once we have lost everyone to death. The emptiness weighs heavy in your words
Well penned
thank you for sharing
