Poem -

Feels Like Love

The stark contrast in color.

The vast difference in temperature.

You are the blood

spilled out for love,

boiling with deep red emotion.

I am the snow,

beautifully unfeeling.

The coldness of a broken heart.

You are the fiery spirit

who courses through life

searching for a place where you belong.

I am the quietly falling soul

scattered by the smallest breeze.

Aimlessly and alone I wander.

What has brought us together,

the two of us?

Dashing red and strikingly white.
