FEMME FATALE (The Dragonfly Queen) Part 3

Her tiptoe whispers are caught in the wind
Cautioning creatures to cover their limbs
Beckoning beast with her mantis display
Pray,
As the dragonfly conjures decay
Obey,
She betrays and teases his trust
Leaving her lover lying in lust.
Beholding her beauty
Are the bewildered brawn
Begging for mercy
Silenced by scorn.
Many men she has lured
With those fluttering wings
Torment is endured
Upon male earthlings.
Bestowing a fractured fate to the fools
Mesmerizing all,
Those immortal mules.
Alas the masses of murdered men
That followed flirtatious flight to her den
Will be devoured,
Her power is death
Breathless bodies are all that is left.

How is this both unsettling and alluring at the same time?!
Wonderful wording, phrasing and wordplay...the mark of a true poet!
Enchanting in its rhythmical structure.
Fantastic! Dangerously so.
