Fighting the Demons Within

 It takes away the best of folks, too early in their days
Make the most of one another, before they're just a haze
 It might be a family member,acquaintance or a best friend
Cancer has no soul you see, a menace to the end

 A game of life where cancer, was never invited in
 A fight to protect your body, kill the demons within

 I lost a best mate,to cancer
It broke my bloody heart
 As kids we thought we'd live forever
We had the best of starts

But real life has its twists and turns
Cherish it every day
Make the best, of one another 
Before cancer takes them away
