As I have gazed
For decades into
Darkness
I have seen a
Penis
Eaten by
Its owner
simply because
He did not
want his
Captors
Insisting
that
it
Be
reattached
I have seen
a
Monster
Merge
From
A
Gorgeous
Looking
Man
Who made
Women
Blush
only
to
Brutally
Beat
Them
In
The
End
Yes
I have
gazed
Into
the
darkness
So long
I know the
Secrets
they keep
My sanity
holds on
by
a thin line
At
times
something
I contribute
to the
therapy
of
my
ink......

I hear many using music to escape the darkness, even much of that is bad. My wife and I knew we had to be strong because we knew we were going to have to bail the kids out of darkness. Sometimes we must stop and strengthen ourselves before we can help others! all the best GREG my brother!...........................................................Jim
Thank you Jim. I was a Lieutenant in a maximum men correction facility and also a house arrest officer/ parole for the Florida DOC. I have seen darkness and poetry has been my refuge

wonderful poem
Well now this is a deep, thought provoking write! I think we all have a monster inside of us. For some it rages and screams within producing our outside actions. For some it sleeps subdued, only ever sometimes awake enough to raise an eyebrow. For a few, the monster lies insitu but unborn. But all of us have the potential to awaken our inner monster. Beautiful or ugly, the monster threat is the same.
I am sorry you have witnessed things so terrible. Seeing such things must stir the monster so kudos to you for keeping that beast in slumber x

Yea some only awake when nobody is looking, and some don't realize they are awake! or can't control it, or don't want to!
