Fill the Silence

Fill the Silence

Gently falling flowers faintly tapping on the glass
Counting each and every hour as they slowly wander pastĀ

Silence slowly suffocating
The peace I've built within
Soothing sounds have passed away
Now thoughts of you begin

Vacuums never last
Something will always fill the space
Rushing in on waves of darkness
Is that smile on your faceĀ

My mind will wander lost and hollow
Seeking to fill the quiet space
All I can do is let the sound pour in
And let the melody take your place
