Filling the coffers

A pain is brewing in my head
Cos of the shit you've done and said
I need to curl up in my bed
Or im gonna blow I'm seeing red
I've been pulled back and forth
Then to and fro
Stretched apart like a pizza dough
I'm working flat out can't you see
How much more do you want from me
Its ok for you with all your power
Perched up there in your ivory tower
Watching the minions of your industrial nation
Working like slaves on a cotton plantation
And what is it we are working for
To be able to retire when we are 84
Costs are rising the pension is screwed
I'm sorry if you don't like my attitude
But I'll carry on so don't interrupt
We work to fund a government that's fucking corrupt
It hits us with taxes on purchase and wage
Whilst the ministers bicker on their Westminster stage
But in this pantomime they Rob every shilling
Cos every ones a fucking villain
Look at where our money went
On schooling their children and paying their rent
On the second homes they so desperately
Need
So fuck the workers let them bleed
Bleed until theyre used up and cheap
Then simply throw them on the heap
But don't worry about funding this great nation
Along comes another generation
To slave til they're worthless to fill up the coffers
Its time to emigrate any offers?

Hello Dave...
In a nutshell!
Which one day hopefully one big enough for us to live in...
Because we won't be able to afford a real home, or someone will make it impossible and take it back to resell for another round...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...

Absolutely. We love in the countryside. A beautiful area that attracts a lot of retiring city folk. Unfortunately wages here don't reflect the cost of housingÂ
Live in the countrysideÂ
"A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy". Guy Fawkes. On another note, you could move to an openly corrupt country, that way you know your going to get fucked in the ass.Â
Guy Fawkes. The only man ever to enter parliament with honest intentions. See you later I'm off to live in the rainforestÂ
