Flames

Flames

Verity Shuttleworth 10/06/2017

Your love is brighter than the sun's early morning glaze,
Fireworks colored skies, more precious than silver and gold

Our touch together is hotter than the hottest flames more powerful than lightning crashed skies and falling rain temperatures collide,
Burning brighter than light

Your love, I soar above seas of storm and pain
Crackling like sparklers in the darkest night

liking your straight ahead visual approach and expression, very dramatic and memorable, yes your imagery leaves a lasting impression on the reader, loving the metaphor as well, Verity Shuttleworth, superb poem, like a painting with clean vivid lines, enjoyed reading this and welcome to the site, cheers
