Finally get to work
A forced smiled on my face 
Nothing will stop me, I love this place 
 

Body feels like a cracked mirror 
one  wrong move it shatters 
All my pain laid bare on the floor as my body scatters

My joints aren’t my friend, it’s a battle some days 
Flares upset your body in so many different ways 
Pain nobody can see so you say nothing at all
Its not in your mind to give up, you will battle, you will not fall 
Yes you cry and sigh in pain
It’s exhausting, frustrating, your mind it drains 
You slowly try and get up out of bed
carrying your body, it weighing like lead 
Not being able to lay on your side as your bones painfully ache
Trying hard to keep going, this flare will end,  my strength it won’t break 
Its hard and painful but you have to stay strong 
No one can see your battle against yourself, the nights feel so long

You hide it well there is a life to live and you don’t want people to see you suffer 
Get up each day, this flare won’t last and make your mind tougher 
Don’t give up,  stay strong in spirit,  keep your soul light bright 
It can be hard, keep on moving,  you against your body, your fight
