Let’s rise

Like the sun we can rise 
When our eyes see the lies 
When we hear our worlds cries 
It's time to realise 
We don't have to die 

This way because of man's greed 
Waiting to be freed 
Searching for food  to feed 
Our families in need 

Of safety and peace 
We obey the beast 
Hunger pains while they feast 
We have each other at least 

To lean on through this war
Hiding behind unlocked doors
Scaring us to the core
Keeping us on standstill glued to the floor

While they fly high into power 
While people pray for an April shower
They need water like a flower 
They watch from their tower

Looking down at us we obey 
We just glad to see another day 
But we all have a right to say 
Let's rise and let's pray
