Fleeting time

Forever and always,
we promised,
eternal love it was,
Beyond the reach of time,
it was suppose to be,
starlight smiles,
stealing gazes,
we carved yesterday's
memories.......
hand in hand,
step by step,
we unveiled each other's
desires,
through passionate kisses
and warm hugs.....
we held onto infinity,
while building castles on air....
today was written,
dropping our guard down.....
In stolen tomorrow,
we believed,
But now.....
I can only be......
the breeze brushing smoothly
beneath your skin, 
the thumping sound of 
your heart beat,
the sky weeping.....
on a rainy day,
coz how could we have known,
how could we have foreseen,
that within a mini second....
due to this fleeting time,
I can cease to exist.
