Why is a candle flicker important?
Why is it special?
You see
The flicker of a candle is so much more
Its the time it takes for a life to end
And for one to start
Its the time it takes to lose hope
And to find it again
Its the time it takes to find peace
Or to descend into chaos
And that is why

Hi Jayxon,
After reading your excellent poem I have been trying to remember the name of a film.
I think it was about Catherine the great but it was from back in the 30's so made under the studio code. No overt sexual contact allowed.
The male and female protagonists are sat opposite each other at a dining table, a candelabra between them. Nothing is said but as their mutual attraction builds the flame flickers more and more in the breeze of their quickening breath. A very potent piece of film for the time, told by a flickering flame.
