Parrots

Parrots

Parrots copy human words
But they aren't the same as us
Parrots are brightly coloured
We are not
They are different
Just like some of us
But they can copy the human language.
That makes them the same in a way.
Making them seem not so strange
Just like some of us
The strange people we avoid
The LGBT+
Because they are parrots to us
But they are the same too
So why are they so strange?

((This is written for pride month and I hope its made a bit of a difference))
