Poem -

My Heart In A Box

Oh my
Do I lie?
Do I say?
That would only ruin the day?
I'm caught in a snare
Maybe my life will be spared
As his soft hands carry me forward
Eastward.
I feel the fearĀ
Of danger lurking near
And his hands carry me westward
Backward
To each place we go
Everytime he says no
And it repeats
And before there were but there are now no beats
Because the walls block sound
It makes me want to pound
Trapped
Kidnapped
Made from wire and string tied in knots
My heart is in a box
