FLYING BEAMS

FLYING BEAMS

The house had flying beams made of many dreams,
you stood there, where nothing was as it seems,
water reflected your white dress with a lovely body,
moonlight filtered, casting shadows, unknown mystery.

We danced a little, under stars, a pair of avatars,
where we came from, they had white flying cars,
they had no war, fights or any medical conditions,
uncertainty or inability to make any decisions.

Of course, there were opinions, who looked best in white,
it depended upon reflection from fading evening light,
that was from two moons, not just one like yours,
two shadows, we always looked best out of doors.

When we were returning halfway to our galaxy,
we remembered the house with it's flying beam mystery.

I enjoyed this piece Terry, interesting and imaginative in an uplifting kind of way. Thumbs up 👍
