FOLLOWING THE FALL (Of Hades)
A skyless moon
Above a floorless room
Eclipsed by the lips
Of impending doom.
A lunar sphere
Where craters create
Eternal tombs
For the unborn whom wait
Within thy womb
Where lunacy quakes.
Eager to surface
A new breed then wake
This unworldly make
Shall then spawn
In the morn
Upon dawn
Of daybreak.
Yet they suffocate
At the hands of fate
Born under the sun
Hades closing their gate....
"For the light of day
Bleeding earths decay
Will only lead
My evils astray"
Far from any orbital realm
Superficial shadows
Cast from the helm
Are born into being
Where Hades once fell.
And still a sun
Soars to find
A skyless moon
Left far behind...
To exist with no skies
And no ground to rise
Life has no place to trace
Thus it dies.
And then a sun sets
On a moonless night
Far from the shade
Yet his shadow shines bright
As 'HE' falls upon stars
Infecting twilight.
But the sun proves her might
Upon the rise of daylight
Hades then fades away
Out of mind
Out of sight.
