FOLLOWING YOU

Where you lead others will follow  
Over land, sea, brook and hollow  
For you are the one others aspire to be  
So many followers including me 

I won't say who you are my secrecy remains
As you take us now on the country lanes 
We rest for a while to enjoy the sun  
Laughing and joking and having fun 

Starting again we follow you once more 
Finally back home and at my front door 
The day has been long but so worthwhile 
I have enjoyed every footstep and every mile
