For a lost dad

I would just like to say, that even though you went away, that we're not so far apart as you're remembered in my heart.
Now I've named a star that shines so bright after you my guiding light, as you brought me up from baby to now, and you always showed me how, to do the tasks that life gives me, like ride a bike or swim the sea. To down a pint to the point where I might, be sick and ruin the night.
But I miss those times in the pub, me and my old man going out for grub, these times are now gone at least for now, rest in peace dad.. I'll do you proud
