For her

A short poem I wrote a year ago, It’s about fighting for your inner child

For her who still had hope
For her who thought the world is filled with rainbows.
For her who never thought she’d choke her lungs with smoke
For her who lived happily.

I’ll live for her to prove that even though she was a little girl she was right.
For she loved me with all she had
She never cried herself to sleep
Her smile was so honest and eyes were filled with so much hope.
For her I’ll live and for her I’ll die. As she would do the same.

Hi Lost Child
This is a clever write, I really enjoyed the innocence captured in your words. We all still have that inner child inside us
Thanks for sharing
