A merchant sold me dreams
Wrapped in shiny gold
Silken woven memories
Of stories never told
Hope and fallen ideas
Lay scattered in the snow
Replaced by silent fears
Day by day they grow
Silence is my only friend
Driven by my mind
Please release my tortured soul
Let me unburden from mankind.
