Poem -

For The Other Man

I’ve loved men
But never you
No never you
So how can I blame you
For being untrue

Truth be told
It wasn’t all me
A woman needs to be treated
Respectfully
She needs to feel special
Like she’s your one & only

All I felt
Was lonely

I’ve loved men before
All kinds of men
But never you
You never treated me
Like you were supposed to

And in your mind
I was the one
Who was unkind
