"For Those Who Still Care"

"To all addicts,
near and far,
God has you exactly,
right where you are,
for a reason,
and if it is a bad place,
to you,
it seems,
like a place you'd never be,
in the worst of your dreams,
remember,
the more you rely on Him,
the more it gets better,
and it will only get better,
when you two are together.

I say this,
out of love,
and plead for you to seek,
true guidance,
from up above,
because He made my life better,
so I know He can yours too,
but you have to put the drugs down,
they should,
from this point forward,
not be pursued,
with imbibing,
in them,
you are relying,
on idols of the devil,
so constantly lying.
They take away the best of you,
and keep you from,
what is true,
and the people who care,
that God uses,
to talk to you,
the demons,
surrounding you,
make you think,
when they try to help,
that they are just nagging you,
and you brush them off,
by thinking they are just judging,
but you do not see that they see,
they see the quicksand,
you are trudging,
the carnival tightrope,
above flames,
and they only want to honestly,
help stop your pain,
because they want the old you,
that shining star,
that they know you truly are,
to come back,
so put down finally,
all those drugs,
and thank them for not giving up,
and give them a great big hug!"
