Forever

If you were mine,
I would love you forever.
Since you’re not,
I will anyway.

If you ever wanted me,
I would want you forever,
If you didn’t,
I would anyway.

You have your love,
I have mine….
So why do I think of you all of the time?

I know that it can never be…
But in my heart and my soul,
You will be mine for ever and ever.

And that’s one thing that can never 
Be taken from me.

Unless I choose it to be.
