Forget
Forget the pain that haunts you,
itâs something in the past.
Your life is all before you,
trust life and make it last
Forget the words that pierced you
and broke your heart each day.
Remember those who love you,
these are the ones who stay
Forget the past, itâs over
itâs not the place to live.
Move on and just keep moving,
and when you can.. forgive
Forgive yourself for caring
your futures waiting yet.
So never look behind you
Youâve nothing to regret.
The presentâs now, so dream it
youâre master of your fate
you closed the door to bad times
now open futures gate.

Ah yes indeed ..it's never easy moving past and beyond hurtful treatment..but with support and time it IS often possible, and you should never stop looking for the better times that WILL come..but being emotionally hurt can be so damaging and demoralising that it can feel like an endless journey my lovely ℠keep at it and let all the good things , even the very small ones, gradually push out all the horrid stuff.Big hugs to my honorary ((hugs)) xxx

This is a fantastic write . Every word of this poem everyone should take to heart. I think like most everyone gets stuck and cannot let go of things in the past .if everyone would listen to your words and follow them the dating world would be a much better place !! Rock
The past has a way of reaching out and hanging on tight, making it difficult to sometimes let go..but let go we must because until we do, we can't go ahead and open the door to new possibilities, new lives and new and better loves..I hope the dating world is kind to you my friend and brings you what you wish for most ..always.
