Fork in The Road

Fork in The Road

Up until this point
I have done a
pretty good job
in paving
my way
to Hell
In contrast
the spirit
in the sky
has paved
a way
for me
to get
to heaven

I am
Still at a stand still
though
as
to which
pathway
I will
ultimately
take

Love the mystery
excitement
and
danger
that hell
provides
yet
the comfort
of
redemption
forgiveness
and
love
that
Jesus
gives
when
you realize
you
screwed
up
is something
I am not
at
this
point
willing
to totally
concede
to
but

am
getting
there……

Being Me

Argh... I just wrote out all my thoughts in this... And it never happened. Maybe it was divine intervention... Anyway... Here goes. Again!

I love this, Greg! This write is one that will be relatable to many. It has a feeling of being really light when, actually, it is about as deep as it gets! A fork in the road, eh? I wonder which of the paths is the road less travelled? Heaven? Or Hell? ? But perhaps there is a third choice? Staying here and become a ghost? Haunting might be fun! Or even a fourth? Reincarnation? But then that might be Hell.... or it could be Heaven ? Yup... This is a fab write, Greg.... And I really do love it x
