Poem -

Forsaking

You were never supposed to go before me but I suppose that is how life is.
Death and rebirth without the remorse of those who suffer its fate.
I'm glad I'm alive because I was able to see your smile as many times as I could but sad that I couldn't hold you to the next journey that awaits you.
For us, so wait for me.
