Free From Discrimination

Free From Discrimination

When life gives you lemons, make lemon pie
It's never quite as bad as it seems
We remember the bad stuff more than the good
On the very long journey, we've been

My life started out at quite a difficult time
At the end of the great depression
My parents surely deserve a huge appreciation
For the delightful childhood lesson

Teaching us to be accepting of all nationalities
For me, it was certainly no problem
But for others out there with a prejudiced mind
They're wallowing at life's bottom

So thankful to my dad for showing me the path
Free of racism and discrimination
To live in true acceptance of all nationalities
As well as great for stress elimination
