Friend

A friend is someone who cares, who understands
They are human just like you and they show it.
A friend will do their best to keep you from harm.
By being a positive example for you, now you know it.

A friend is a constant reminder of who you are.
Especially since you both have the same qualities.
A friend is a person who will let you be you.
They will never try to force or abuse your abilities.

A friend will always be generous towards you.
They will lift you up when you're feeling down.
You will never have to ask them for anything, ever.
They'll show you a smile whenever you have a frown.

If you need advice at 1:30 in the morning.
Please believe me, they will be right there.
When you have a lot on your mind, and just to need to vent.
A friend will always be available to lend you an ear.

They know when it's time to focus hard in life.
The same applies when it's time for play.
If you have someone in your corner who fits this description,
Make sure you do your best to never push them away.

A friend is not a relative, or even an acquaintance.
Tis not a boy, girl, close or BFF game.
It's someone you know that's very special.
