'From The Beginning Of The World'

From Adam to Bill Clinton, no one is guilty,
the law is a an ass or maybe a horse in USA;
I plead guilty, maybe I'll get away with it or not,
did this happen? I can not remember, I forgot.

Was it good? Not particularly, no real mystery,
now the whole world wants to get at poor old me,
everyone is answerable but I am beyond reproach,
won't resist a grin when I'm waving from my stagecoach.

Ever since Eve, some are nothing but a problem,
we know full well, can't live with them or without them;
in future, must remember (again) to cover all my tracks,
when there's a picture, make sure it's just the backs.

I'll just have to move on now to an older model,
but I might just weaken again, you never can tell.
