Shukriya so much for your generous appreciation and the hug! Hugs to you too!Ā
While it has been long since thisĀ deep in an attempt to move on, but I will confess, there's are still times I hope I receive a letter.
Shukriya and hugs again! That's so sweet of you; I really appreciate it! :)
I do still write letters, but no longer to her. Just a few 'letter loving' friends. She's moved on way ahead and have been married for almost two years now. Doesn't wish for me to be her friend even, despite the fact that we used to very good friends long before we even considered dating. Anyway...
Hi Sambit, This is so heartfelt. If you cremate those letters you'll lose the memories within!! If your ready to let her go, keep them in a box left to gather dust then years later they will be only that ...a memory that possibly brings a smile, I really love this poem....Brilliant

Shukriya so much for such a personal heartfelt review Lorna. Sincerely appreciated.
For the sake of my sanity and the concern of my near and dear ones, I had to do all I can to move on. This is more of a gesture, for despite the deed, the memories still remain within. Perhaps, always will. Sometimes they do make me smile, but mostly I just feel a heavy void. That's what this post alludes to as well. She's been married for almost two years now. We were close friends for long, even before we even thought of dating. Now, she doesn't want to remain friends with me even; not unless I promise to 'forget' what we had between us. I can't do that and neither can I lie about it to her just to remain friends.

I would be happy to write you a letter...
But, I know it just wouldn't be the same...
Maybe, you should write one and see what happens...
If no one makes a move well...
Nothing happens...
Best wishes and blessings!
Thanks for the Hugs...
Hugs again...
