Generation Thunderdome

Generation Thunderdome

We journey an era in a world full of hate,
it's leaving us fearful, restless, irate.
When will we surge from this Ocean of void
and cast out the chapters from every tabloid.

We're feeling the fear in a thunderdome storm,
where stepping stones fall and the parasites swarm.
These stories unfold, never breathing an end,
and rules of mankind are only out there to bend.

We fuel on deceit in a steel, twisted cage
and fight for freedom, on a dry rugged stage.
Where is the hero that holds out a hand?
When generations twist can recover on demand.

I don't want more lies holding onto the cold,
only an answer, some truths to be told.
I'll wait for a future that showers a glow,
when thunderdomes fury, can somehow let go.
