Get Well Son

Get Well Son

Why would I be mad?
It's not your fault your sick
I just want to do my best
To take care of you kid
I'll get you some medicine
Make sure it don't taste to bad
I just don't like seeing you Ill
I don't like you being sad
I will get you a hot bowl
Of chicken noodle soup
I will tuck you in bed
I will jump through the hoops
I want you to feel better
And to keep your red cheeks
From getting even wetter
I am your dad
I will do all that I can
To put a smile back on your face
To make you feel better , man!
It's ok, I will be here for you
When you are sick or when your fine
I couldn't imagine
A better way to spend my time

Hi  Luke Being a parent myself i know how this feels
When a child is ill  it is hard to see, you wish you could take the sickness
away from your child and  have it yourself rather than see them suffer
You wrote this beautifully
A loving heartfelt write
Best wishes Debs
