Glittering balls of fire

Looking up against the glittering stars the pitch blackness only able to aluminate from the glowing balls of fire rock in the outer atmosphereÂ
The birds singing and talking to each other about there wonderful day they've had of flying the skies oh how I long to have wings to lift them up and take off higher and higher I would flyÂ
I would fly higher then any birds been before
I would fly up being closer to the stars I would settle on the top of the highest mountain and look down on to the people below me with there single lit rooms yet to turn offÂ
The teenagers running out the back behind their own homes or homes of others trying to leave or enter at mid night
The dogs barking at the sight of a cat dashing across the street
The traffic lights interchanging as few cars drive along the roadÂ
The world seems to speak louder when the people are silencedÂ
Dreaming about when they wake The journey they will startÂ
The baby they will make
The people they make love toÂ
The Children they drive to school
The plane they will catchÂ
The person they will marry
The person that has passed and is missing the mostÂ
The job they have to get up to so that there can be food on the tableÂ
The dreams of a better lifeÂ
No one can ever be satisfied with what they have? Â
Yet the sky has been seen magnificent tonight
And nothing more can compare against these glittering balls of fire light in the furthest of of places seen for miles
