Go Within

I'm feeling the love
I've just woken up,
Today will be a good day
I've taught myself to say.
The trees are beautiful
And the sky is blue
As I make my way to the office
To start on projects new.
It's not a very exciting day
But there is something beautiful
Coming my way
I feel it and I know that much is true,
Its out with the old
And in with the new.
Got a boring routine
And I'm stuck in one place
With a baby to raise
Trying to make ends meet
With a smile on my face
I know they say life isn't a race
But time is something
Nobody can replace.
So I go somewhere time doesn't exist,
In my head through the fog and mist
Then I can sit by a river,
I can swim in a lake
I can drink more than
My physical liver can take.
I can ride a motorcycle
Or swing on a trapeze
Or simply sit in a garden in Spring,
Surrounded by blossom budding trees.
This is what helps me to be
A ball of positivity
When the shackles of a money-driven world bind me
I just have to go within myself and I am free.
